SEOUL, June 19 (Xinhua) -- South Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) decided to hold talks this week on simplifying customs procedures for the joint industrial complex in DPRK's border city of Kaesong, the Unification Ministry said Monday.

    The two-day working level talks will be launched Tuesday in Kaesong between related officials, the ministry said.

    The two sides will also talk about issues including a new ID system for workers at the joint complex, the Yonhap News reported.

    The Kaesong joint industrial complex is a symbol of inter-Korean cooperation.

    According to South Korean Unification Ministry, about 6,500 DPRK workers are working in South Korean companies in Kaesong and more than 350,000 DPRK laborers are expected to be employed by 2012 when the complex is fully installed. Enditem
