BEIJING, May 25 -- Madonna made a surprise appearance on the red carpet at the UK premiere of Sin City, leaving Hollywood beauty Brittany Murphy speechless.

Starstruck Murphy couldn't believe her eyes when Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie suddenly arrived at the cinema.

"It's probably the second time I've ever been star-struck in my life," said the 27-year-old actress, one of the movie's co-stars. "She's my idol. If I meet her at the party I will shyly and meekly shake her hand."

Murphy joined her Sin City co-stars Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Michael Madsen and Clive Owen, as well as director Robert Rodriguez on the red carpet of the Empire Leicester Square, ahead of the film's UK release next week.Enditem
