Jihad vows to continue attacks on Israel

    GAZA, Sept. 4 (Xinhuanet) -- Saraya al Quds, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad (Holy War) movement vowed on Saturday to continue firing homemade rockets at Israeli army and the Jewish settlements in the Gaza Strip.

    The group said in a leaflet that the attacks will continue "until the end of occupation of our occupied territories.""Settlements and military posts would continue to be targets ofour militants," it added.

    The leaflet said the group's militants had attacked earlier Saturday an Israeli army post east of the southern Gaza Strip town of Kahn Younis.

    It said the militants fired a homemade rocket called "Quds 1"which directly hit its target.

    The leaflet considered the attack on the Israeli army post "aspart of Jihad's continuous protest against the daily crimes that is carried out against the Palestinian people." Enditem
